DEERFIELD SENIOR HOUSING |
The Deerfield Senior Housing Ad Hoc Committee (DSHAHC) was formed in August of 2000, to determine the extent of the demand for senior housing in Deerfield, Massachusetts, as well as the appropriate measures to respond to the need.
This website
has been created to promote the public's awareness of the committee's activities
and recommendations.
The DSHAHC is co-sponsoring Article #5 for Sept. 15th's special Town Meeting. This article creates a process whereby Deerfield residents may create an "Accessory apartment" to house a caregiver or elderly family members who require assitance with their activities of daily living.
